About Me

A calm, compassionate approach to anxiety and emotional wellbeing

I believe therapy works best when it feels safe, collaborative, and grounded in real life. My role is not to "fix" you, but to support you in understanding what you’re experiencing and help you build skills to navigate it with more clarity and calm.

Many people come to therapy while continuing to function day to day — yet anxiety, stress, or emotional patterns begin to weigh heavily on how they feel, communicate, or relate to others. Therapy offers a space to slow things down, explore these experiences with compassion, and begin responding more intentionally.

My approach to therapy

In my work, I aim to create a warm, supportive environment where you feel comfortable being yourself. I approach therapy as a joint effort — one built on trust, patience, and collaboration.

"I believe everyone is capable of change when given the right support, understanding, and tools."

Empathetic and Realistic

I am empathetic, realistic, and compassionate in how I work with clients. Therapy is a process, and meaningful change often happens gradually as insight and skills develop over time.

Specialising in Anxiety

Anxiety can show up in many ways. It may look like constant worry, emotional reactivity, difficulty communicating, or feeling disconnected from yourself or others.

I specialise in working with individuals whose anxiety impacts their day-to-day life, relationships, and overall sense of wellbeing. Rather than viewing anxiety as something to eliminate, my approach focuses on understanding where it comes from, how it operates, and how to respond to it more effectively.

Together, we work toward helping you feel more grounded, less reactive, and better equipped to manage emotions when challenges arise.

Experience and Training

I have experience working in psychiatric hospital settings as well as outpatient therapy, supporting individuals and families through a wide range of emotional and life stressors.

Background

Why I became a therapist

I have always been drawn to helping others make sense of their experiences and see situations from different perspectives. I am a thoughtful listener, and people have often felt comfortable sharing their experiences with me.

What I value most in this work is witnessing clients grow in self-understanding, confidence, and emotional balance. Supporting others as they move toward a lighter, more peaceful way of living is deeply meaningful to me..

Who I work best with

  • Individuals experiencing anxiety, stress, or emotional overwhelm.

  • Those functioning in daily life but feeling impacted internally.

  • People interested in understanding themselves and their patterns.

  • Clients open to learning and applying practical skills.

  • Those willing to engage collaboratively in the therapy process.

Therapy works best when there is a shared commitment to the process and a willingness to explore, reflect, and practice between sessions.

A supportive place to begin

Starting therapy can feel uncertain, especially when anxiety is already present. I strive to create a calm, welcoming space where you can begin at your own pace and feel supported throughout the process.
